The Davy Tunnel

My mother used to tell me stories of how she and her friends , when she lived in Twin Branch WV, would walk and run through the Davy tunnel to get to elementary school. The tunnel connected Twin Branch and Davy. She talked about how they would yell and scream as they went through the tunnel listening to the echos of their voices. The tunnel still exists, but is closed because of falling rocks.
